This Feijoa Crumble is that perfect treat to nibble on when you're wanting something sweet just for yourself. The perfect size to keep it all to yourself when you're wanting to curl up on the couch!
INGREDIENTS
2 feijoas
¼ tsp maple syrup
3 Tbs oats
1 Tbs tsp flour
2 tsp brown sugar
2 Tbs butter, melted
METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease your ramekin.
2. Peel your feijoas and cut off the ends. Quarter them and add to the ramekin. Add maple syrup and mix through.
3. Make your crumb topping by mixing together oats, flour, and brown sugar with a fork. Add in melted butter and stir with fork, making sure not to over-mix it.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until fruit is soft, then turn off the oven and leave to rest in the oven for a further five. Serve warm and enjoy
*Alternatively use the microwave: microwave feijoas with a little bit of water for 2-3 minutes. Then top with the crumb mixture and microwave for a further 3 minutes. Finish under the grill for a crunchy top.
