If you feel like making your own homemade tomato chutney this
weekend, give this simple (and tasty!) recipe a go!
INGREDIENTS
1.3kg tomatoes (pulp)
1kg brown sugar
1.3kg apples (pulp)
1 teaspoon salt
700g onions
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
28g garlic
3 cups vinegar
METHOD
Cut onions small. Boil all ingredients for 2 hours. Bottle and seal
securely. If you love a little heat, we recommend adding a few
chilies!
This chutney is best left for 3 months before eating
